I gave a presentation titled Black Mountain College artists explored in elementary STEAM lessons at the ReVIEWING 12 Black Mountain College International Conference, Asheville, North Carolina, on November 12, 2021. It was such an honor to be part of the strong panel.

The series was organized by the ECU School of Art and Design Art Education Program. I became the recipient of the 2021 Achievement in International Research and Creative Activity Award from East Carolina University. Thank you for all of your support and encouragement!!!
In February 2021, I received the Kathy Connors Teaching Award from the Women’s Caucus, National Art Education Association. I am truly grateful for all of the support and help from my colleagues and and students. I also appreciate all the WC members and participating artists I have collaborated with during my work as Exhibition Coordinator, for their enthusiasm and hard work.
